Raleigh Peak
Yesterday on a club hike, under clearing skies, we bushwhacked several miles over the large site of a past forest fire to the bottom of rocky Raleigh Peak. As we climbed, grapple started to fall heavily. We had to climb over and around the slippery boulders to reach the rugged top. We ate lunch on a ledge as the sky cleared enough to get some views. As we descended, the skies cleared again and we returned along the scenic Colorado Trail on a beautiful late afternoon.
