Fall Pass
Over Labor Day weekend, I went on a 28 mile backpack in the Holy Cross Wilderness in Colorado, led by Dave Callais from Fall Creek to Cross Creek looping around the Mount of the Holy Cross in the center. On the first day we hike up the Fall Creek valley high above the creek past Lake Constantine. As we climbed up towards 12,600 foot high Fall Pass, dark clouds began to collect above us. As we hiked down from the pass, past several of the Seven Sisters Lakes, a brief rain storm struck. Farther down, the rain stopped and the sun came out.
