Buddy, Moe and I hiked today underneath the jagged peaks of the Gore Range into the Eagles Nest Wilderness Area.  It was a clear and warm day.  Starting at the Rock Creek Trailhead, we first hiked over a high ridge and down to Boulder Lake.  Next we hiked back over the ridge and up the North Rock Creek Trail, which is an old mining road, up to an old mine high in the Rock Creek basin where there are views of the peaks above the basin. It was a peaceful day.
