Wyoming Trail
In the morning, we climbed back to the Wyoming trail and continued north. We climbed high up the continental divide, passing above the deep blue Luna Lake and onto the high, tundra ridge above tree line. We climbed continuously up to the high point on the Wyoming Trail to a 11,800 foot lunch spot on Lost Ranger Peak. From there, we could see Mount Zirkel and Big Agnes Peak, the highpoints of the wilderness area. After lunch we descended to North Lake where we camped. It had been unusually warm and it felt great to swim in the lake.
