Torreys Peak

Torreys Peak

Yesterday, continuing to train for Nepal, I climbed to the summit of 14,270 foot, Torreys Peak with Buddy and Moe. It was Moe's first 14er and Buddy's second. There was snow and ice on the trail and the gail force winds were blowing up high, making it very cold. I forgot to bring a camera so I took pictures with my iPhone. In the very cold wind on the summit, we only stayed briefly and I had trouble taking pictures. Although a few people were climbing neighboring Grays Peak, we were the only ones climbing Torreys. We were alone on the summit.
