The second day of the conference I went on planning tours of the city. The first tour was a general tour of Boston and Cambridge and we stopped at Harvard and the School of Design. The second tour was of interesting redevelopment areas in South Boston. In the evening, I walk through the Back Bay neighborhood, to the Boston Commons and on to Chinatown. In Chinatown, I attended an interesting dinner where American planners were mixed with Chinese planners and planning students.
