Bills Peak

Bills Peak

I led a hike to the top of Bills Peak in the Byers Peak wilderness area. At 12,700 feet, it is the second highest peak in that wilderness after Byers Peak. It was a steep, difficult climb. We decided to descend by a shortcut route via Horseshoe Lake which caused some difficulties, but, after a long day, everyone survived.

Your photos make me ache for the mountains, which I rarely ever visited when I lived there. I think that is a true gift -- creator of false nostalgia. Good Job, Friend.
