Three Mile Creek
I led a club hike up Three Mile Creek in the Mount Evans wilderness. There were only four of us but all were good hikers and accomplished the twelve mile hike without difficulty. The wildflowers were plentiful and diverse. We saw several dozen different species. After lunch on a rise in the immense spaces above treeline, dark clouds began flying over our heads and we started quickly down towards the trees, but the clouds were quickly gone to the east, and while a couple of hikers napped in the alpine meadow, I took pictures.
